The core focus of our Sustainability Strategy is the dialogue with stakeholders that are the people, groups or organizations that have influence over our organizations or are influenced by the decisions we make. That dialogue constitutes the inspiring base of action plans which seek to respond to the expectations and ideas gathered in these dialogues.

One of our cornerstones as Insurance Group is formed by our internal workteam. Working under decent and satisfactory conditions is a right of every man and woman. In addition, in Grupo Sancor Seguros we seek to be in an atmosphere where cooperative values prevail, in order to build flexible but stable relations; transformative but sustainable over time. We advocate for the protection of our employees basic rights ensuring a decent standard of living and we provide growth and develop opportunities, in the context of equal treatment and fair working conditions.

Policyholders

In Grupo Sancor Seguros “Policyholders” are more than customers. On the one hand, because in the case of our Cooperative, we are also in front of one of its members. Our commitment to customers is multiple and it develops in three moments:

Developing products and services suitable to their specific needs;
Providing measures to prevent the risks and their consequences.
Giving an efficient answer in risk management and accident care;

That is to say, our job is to provide calm in case of accident, to ensure payment promise and to support them (acting in a responsable way before their legitimate needs); but also work so that moment never comes, with preventive actions and the right counselling about insurable goods risks so they can make the correct decision. This is the way we can assure their right to be heard, to choose and to be fairly compensated.

Environment

From 2011 we rely on an environmental care strategy based on four pillars, through which we pursue not only environmental preservation but also the safety and health of every stakeholder linked to our business. With this strategy we aim at more efficient processes, foreseeing and minimizing adverse environmental impact, reducing the use of resources, waste and pollution. Likewise, in respect of the products we offer to the market, we are focused on detecting risks and we avoid getting involved in hires with unacceptable risks from the environmental and social point of view.
